Tits (Paridae and Aegithalidae) of Nepal
Common name: Cinereous Tit
Scientific name: Parus cinereus IUCN conservation status: Least Concern One of a number of tits in Nepal which look superficially similar. This species can be distinguished from others from the black line which runs down its breast and belly. Until recently it was considered a subspecies of the Great Tit but DNA studies have shown it to be a separate species. |
